When I was little, my mom would annually take my sister and I to the pumpkin patch but since we missed the last couple of years, I made sure it was on my bucket list for fall 2015! Finally this weekend, my friends and I went to Willow View Farms in Abbotsford to pick pumpkins, take photos, and explore! I forgot how much fun the pumpkin patch is and I’ll have to make sure that I start going every year again!

Wearing: Joe Fresh tee (old) similar // Old Navy shirt // Old Navy jeans // Old Navy boots (old) similar // Target hat // RumbaTime watch // My mom made the scarf 🙂

Do you have any fun plans for the fall?

“Everybody has to start somewhere. You have your whole future ahead of you. Perfection doesn’t happen right away.” -Haruki Murakami

I think what’s been holding me back from “officially” starting a blog for so long was fear. There are already so many influential bloggers out there. I wanted to wait until I knew I was perfect enough and I was afraid of starting until I became just that. But the problem is this: I’ll never be. The definition of perfect is this:

per • fect

  1. having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.
  2. absolute; complete (used for emphasis).

  1. make (something) completely free from faults or defects, or as close to such a condition as possible.

It’s impossible to be perfect. No matter how close we come, because we’re human, we’ll always be a mess. But I’m learning to let go of my perfectionism and embrace the beautiful mess I am. And I finally started this blog to do just that. To inspire you to embrace yourself for who you are – for who God created you to be – and to join me on this journey to becoming a better person who will make a positive impact in the world.

“You don’t have to be good to start … you just have to start to be good!” -Joe Sabah

My blog won’t be perfect. I am a flawed human being. But it’s all really about conquering my fears and doubts, with God’s help, and doing something that I’m really passionate about. Will you join me?

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.” -1 Timothy 1:7

And I promise most of the posts on this blog won’t be this serious. 😉

Also, for now I may not post very regularly but make sure you’re following me on social media so you can be notified when there’s a new post!
